A federal bankruptcy judge on Thursday ordered a hearing into the questionable auction of Infowars to The Onion after Alex Jones’ legal team protested that an ally’s higher bid for his properties was rejected.
At a court hearing Thursday afternoon in Houston, the trustee who oversaw the auction, Christopher Murray, acknowledged that The Onion did not have the highest bid but said it was a better deal overall because some of the Sandy Hook families agreed to forgo a portion of the sale proceeds to pay Jones’ other creditors. First United American Companies, a business affiliated with one of Jones’ product-selling websites, submitted the only other bid. The trustee said he could not put a dollar amount on The Onion’s bid.

I took a seminar on Orwell and D.H. Lawrence during my junior year at university. Then I remember several years after I graduated – in the actual year 1984 – how the media had a field day with debunking Orwell’s predictions.
In actuality, the Internet, which manifests Orwell’s dark view, began as ARPANET in 1983 and widespread civilian use began in the early 1990’s. But even back in college, the potential of Orwell’s dark vision of the future was seen by many as a possible future.

Multiple thousands of individuals who were part of a protest against suspicious developments in the 2020 presidential election have been charged and convicted of offenses like trespassing for walking into the Capitol building when authorities said it was “closed.”
They sometimes walked past security guards who were holding the doors open for them, but nonetheless were charged anyway.

President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday said he is “thrilled to announce” Robert F. Kennedy Jr as his nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) in a statement on social media.
“For too long, Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies who have engaged in deception, misinformation, and disinformation when it comes to Public Health,” Trump wrote on platform X, along with his announcement.
Imagine actually having Politicians that cared about their people, who told the truth, who aren’t on the payroll of big Pharma & reject woke ideological nonsense.
