Wiley Nickel (D-NC) has proposed the establishment of a “shadow cabinet” to counter President-elect Donald Trump’s administration, an idea he detailed in an op-ed published in the Washington Post and during a speech on the House floor. Nickel argued that borrowing from the British system, where opposition parties form shadow cabinets to hold the government accountable, could serve as a necessary check against what he described as “extreme MAGA attacks on our government.”

Kennedy, Jr. is appointed to the position of Secretary of Health and Human Services, making these two appointments his most controversial appointments yet.
Matt Gaetz has been under investigation for child sex trafficking in the House of Representatives, and he promptly resigned from the House as soon as Trump appointed him as the AG, just days before a House ethics committee was due to release their findings.

But, as the hawkers on TV bellow “Wait! There’s more!” Bear in mind as you try to process this disquieting information about certain segments of the population of our young people that all this is happening at an institution of “higher” learning carrying a price tag of over $61,000.00 per year to attend, and yet this is what these future “Masters of the Universe” are being treated to. You can’t make it up. The same article tells us that students at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, “pupils are also being given options for seeking refuge — not only on Election Day but all week long.”

“The Polish-American alliance is strong, regardless of who governs in Warsaw and Washington,” Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski posted to social media, stating that the United States is continuing its geostrategic policies. Perhaps no member in the EU is more eager to rush US funding to Ukraine than Poland. Warsaw is now contributing 5% of its GDP to defense spending in NATO.
