One month ago, we sparked a frenzy across precious metals circles when we reported that a “mystery” buyer had bought some 300 tons of gold, roughly three quarters of what would be a record 399 tons of central bank gold purchases in the third quarter.
While regular readers already know the details (which we laid out here), here again is the bigger picture: Central banks bought a net 399.3 tonnes of gold in the July-September period, more than quadrupling on the year, according to the November report by the World Gold Council. The latest amount marks a steep jump from 186 tonnes in the preceding quarter and 87.7 tonnes in the first quarter, while the year-to-date total alone surpasses any full year since 1967.

The cost of food has been going up much faster than our paychecks have throughout 2022, and this week Walmart CEO Doug McMillion publicly admitted that double-digit price increases for packaged foods “are going to be with us for a while”. This is a crisis that isn’t going away, and as you will see below, it appears that things will get even worse in 2023.

Lawmakers in British Columbia have advanced legislation that could lead to prison time for doctors who give advice that goes against federal guidelines and narratives. The Health Professions and Occupations Act (HPOA) was approved by the legislature last Thursday and immediately received Royal Assent.
The new legislation is aimed at replacing the Health Professions Act in British Columbia and will make significant changes to how all health professions are regulated. It now awaits a cabinet order to determine when it will be enacted.

It’s that time of year when analysts and prognosticators begin issuing their forecasts for the year to come. This is always challenging business, and predicting 2023 promises to be even more difficult than usual.
My initial thoughts on 2023 are that it will be much like 2010 and 2019, years where an early or unexpected Fed pivot to loosening and QE drove strong gains in the COMEX precious metals. That part of the next twelve months seems a certainty. The only question is timing—and that’s the hard part.

I suppose that we should have known that this was inevitable. After establishing a precedent during the pandemic, now the elite apparently intend to impose lockdowns for other reasons as well. What I have detailed in this article is extremely alarming, and I hope that you will share it with everyone that you can. Climate change lockdowns are here, and if people don’t respond very strongly to this it is likely that we will soon see similar measures implemented all over the western world. The elite have always promised to do “whatever it takes” to fight climate change, and now we are finding out that they weren’t kidding.
