Earlier this week, I wrote an article about the possibility of the FDIC doing a bail-in with your money. The article discussed how actions would be taken on a Friday and how depositors could be right out of luck.
Several readers called it “fear porn” but as it turns out, it wasn’t.
This morning, it’s been announced that the FDIC has taken control of the deposits in Silicon Valley Bank. As of today, Friday, customers are not able to access their accounts.

Customers of Wells Fargo, the fourth largest bank in the US by assets, are complaining of missing direct deposit payments and incorrect balances.
The bank has acknowledged the reports which are affecting “some customers,” and is chalking it up to a potential “technical issue.”

Journalists Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger accused Twitter of colluding with Stanford University in order to run a “censorship” and “disinformation” campaign to mislead the public on vaccines.
Taibbi and Shellenberger appeared on the floor of Congress to take questions where they explained documents they anaylized as part of the “Twitter Files” series, which has exposed the Big Brother apparatus that has developed over the past several years with social media companies doing the bidding of the federal government.
