Jewelry production is an important driver of overall silver demand. In 2022, the amount of silver used in jewelry was up around 29% as overall silver demand hit record levels. Silver jewelry production used around 235 million ounces of silver.
And according to a recent survey by the Silver Institute, silver jewelry sales are on the rise.
The Silver Institute created the survey to gauge various aspects of the silver jewelry market in the US in 2022. Results of the survey showed 61% of retailers said that they increased their silver jewelry inventory in 2022 by an average of 21%.

A Northeastern professor says the CDC has significantly overestimated the number of people who have received at least one COVID shot, leading the federal agency to paint a rosier picture of vaccine compliance than actually exists.
By saying that a majority or more have gotten the “vaccine”, the CDC is likely hoping to entice those who haven’t gotten it to roll up their sleeves and dutifully comply with the ruling class’s edicts.

China spent $240 billion between 2000 and 2021 to “rescue” 22 countries struggling to repay predatory Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) loans, according to a report published on Tuesday.
The report, titled “China as an International Lender of Last Resort,” was prepared by researchers from the World Bank, the Harvard Kennedy School, research lab AidData, and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. The data show that, by 2021, China had undertaken 128 rescue loan operations spread across 22 countries with low foreign exchange reserve levels and weak sovereign credit ratings totaling $240 billion.

I was surprised to see that homeschooling was a topic of interest for SurvivalBlog but given homeschooling’s growth over the last few years, I ought not have been.
So first, why should you listen to me? Well, I was homeschooled K-12, graduated college, got two advanced degrees, taught at the university level, and am now homeschooling my own kids. My wife’s much more practical choice of major means that this is the logical choice for us. I am a homeschooling success story and I believe in it enough to shoulder the cost and the work (as my children shoulder the risk) of me homeschooling them.
