A state judge on Thursday announced Democrat Kris Mayes beat Republican Abe Hamadeh by 280 votes in the race for Arizona’s Attorney General.
Hamadeh was only down by 511 votes against Mayes out of more than 2.5 million ballots cast in the Attorney General race.

The President of the Federal Office for Radiation Protection, Inge Paulini, warned on Wednesday that they need to prepare for nuclear emergencies. The head of the country’s radiation protection office says that the Ukraine/Russia conflict could cause a wide range of nuclear catastrophes.
In an interview with Funke media group newspapers, Paulini pointed out that “radiation does not stop at the borders,” and claimed that the ongoing military conflict between Moscow and Kiev has “made it clear to the general public that we have to be and remain prepared for a wide variety of nuclear emergencies.”

On Sept. 8, SBF met with senior Biden adviser Steve Ricchetti in a previously unreported encounter, White House officials familiar with the matter said. The meeting was “the latest in a handful of sessions,” according to the report.

Unless you live under a rock you have heard the Supreme Court has agreed to hear a challenge to the lifting of Title 42 restrictions on entry for the purpose of immigration.
Go read the dissent. It is worth the time and not all that long, since its simply a stay and a decision to take cert, the petition for same can be found here.
I am forced to agree with the dissent for one simple reason: The Supreme Court is not the arbiter of political policy, only Constitutionality. At the same time I’m forced to agree with the majority: Biden claims Title 42 is no longer required because there is no longer a pandemic emergency but he has not dropped the Public Health Emergency order and in fact recently extended it.

A new peer-reviewed paper has troubling news for anyone who has received multiple mRNA shots, suggesting the immune system paradoxically weakens a crucial part of its Covid response after the third jab.
The immune shift causes the body to make relatively more of a less potent kind of antibody to Covid, displacing antibodies that attack the virus more aggressively. The change could heighten the risk of Covid infection and mean that people who are infected suffer longer and more serious cases.

Even though what we saw during the height of the pandemic was shocking enough for most people, what we saw during 2022 was arguably even more astonishing. During the lockdowns and quarantines and the forced business shutdowns, the sheer number of all the rights and freedoms that were coercively “suspended”, as though that’s a thing one can do with true liberty, left so many fellow citizens in disbelief. However, what many people found even more horrifying was the way it was seemingly all forgotten in mere months.
