The strike power of Russia’s new state-of-the-art Oreshnik ballistic missile is similar to a meteorite impact, President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday. The hypersonic weapon is capable of successfully hitting heavily fortified targets, he added.
Moscow already has several such missiles at its disposal and has begun mass production of the advanced weapon system, Putin told a summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Kazakhstan’s capital, Astana.

The election of Donald Trump has not calmed the climate cult’s obsession with frivolous lawsuits. This week, Maine’s Attorney General Aaron Frey, a Democrat, announced that the Pine Tree State is filing suit against several oil giants, alleging that they willingly hid the role of fossil fuels in climate change and put profits over the environment for more than half a century.

Maine is seeking a jury trial and compensatory damages for mitigation of the impact that so-called climate change has had on their state for decades. The defendants include Exxon, Shell, Chevron, BP, Sunoco, and the American Petroleum Institute (API).

In 2020, Joe Biden’s 81 million votes broke Barack Obama’s 2008 record 69 million votes by 12 million votes or roughly 17 percent. Obama’s 2008 numbers were anomalous. Hillary Clinton’s 2016 numbers were closer to the norm, and Biden got nearly 25 percent more votes than she did, a cool 16 million additional votes when finally counted.
