The dozen-or-so “atmospheric rivers,” also known as rain storms, that have hit California this winter so far have provided a much-needed reprieve from the persistent drought conditions that have plagued the state for many years. There is a downside, though: many of the state’s crop farms are now underwater from all this excess moisture, which is creating massive food and finance losses for the Golden State’s farmers.

If you have ever wondered, “where do America’s spies come from?” the answer is quite possibly the Walsh School of Foreign Service (SFS) at Georgetown University. It is only a modestly-seized institution, yet the school provides the backbone for the Central Intelligence Agency, Department of Defense, State Department, and other organs of the national security state.
From overthrowing foreign governments and conducting worldwide psychological operations to overseeing drug and gun smuggling and a global torture network, the CIA is perhaps the world’s most controversial and dangerous organization. All of which begs the question, should an educational institution have any formal relationship with it, let alone such a storied school as Georgetown?

But if The Department of Justice (DOJ) and a coalition of eight states get their way, its parent company Alphabet is going to be forced to play by a fair set of rules.
“A federal judge on Friday set a fast-paced schedule in the U.S. Justice Department’s antitrust lawsuit challenging Google LLC’s digital advertising technology practices, moving the case along more quickly than either side had proposed,” Reuters reported.

The Canadian government blacklisted 201 companies that were sympathetic to the Freedom Convoy, a group of truckers who participated in a protest against vaccine mandates and other COVID-19 measures.
The government reportedly emailed this blacklist to foreign banks, according to Blacklock’s Reporter.
The RCMP placed no restrictions on the distribution of this blacklist, which raises concerns about privacy and the government’s power to freeze bank accounts.

Official figures published by the UK’s Office for National Statistics show that deaths per 100,000 among double vaccinated 18-39-year-olds were on average 91% higher than deaths per 100,000 among unvaccinated 18-39-year-olds between January 2021 and January 2022.
This means it can no longer be denied that the Covid-19 vaccines are deadly because even the official Government published figures now prove it.

The ceremony and the anniversary of the attack went predictably unmentioned in America.

Wake Up, America! We are in an undeclared war of terror, unfolding before your disbelieving eyes, shocked conscious, and overloaded cognitive domain.
Sometimes, we fail to believe what we see, as it shocks our consciousness. I’ll speak more about that specific phenomenon in a moment. This phenomenon is often reinforced by a cultural tendency in America to focus on the near-term, not strategic, and thereby miss the forest for the trees. That is to say; we can miss what’s happening right in front of us, that which we see with our eyes, but fail to fully absorb it as the context of the event shocks our system so greatly – we immediately shut down.

Stanford Law School students who shouted down a federal judge speaking on campus are about to learn a lesson in freedom of speech courtesy of Dean Jenny Martinez, who mounted a robust defense of said topic in a recent letter to students, faculty, and staff.
“There is temptation to a system in which people holding views perceived by some as harmful or offensive are not allowed to speak, to avoid giving legitimacy to their views or upsetting members of the community, but history teaches us that this is a temptation to be avoided,” Martinez wrote Wednesday. “I can think of no circumstance in which giving those in authority the right to decide what is and is not acceptable content for speech has ended well.”
