Fears about the integrity of American banking appear to be driving depositors away from holding their cash at banks, with commercial deposits having dropped by $105 billion in the two-week period that ended on March 29.

The United Nations is discussing bringing some Russian banks back to the SWIFT payment system in order to help keep grain shipments from Ukraine going, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric has said.
When asked during a briefing on Wednesday if any progress had been made on Russia’s demands regarding the grain agreement, Dujarric said that UN officials were “trying to doggedly move the process forward.”

Dramatic videos posted on Twitter shows protesters storming the headquarters of LVMH. This sort of behavior from protesters holding strikes against President Emmanuel Macron’s pension reform was seen last week when they stormed offices of BlackRock.

The southern African nation of Zimbabwe announced it is working on an integrated digital ID system to streamline the delivery of government services.
In an interview with the local newspaper The Chronicle, Zimbabwe’s Minister of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Kazembe Kazembe said that the digital system would allow citizens to apply for biometric passports, register births, apply for national IDs, facilitate border crossings, and help law enforcement agencies monitor criminal activities.

A report produced by Oxford University and Imperial College London for the UK Government reveals that all airports will be ordered to close, eating beef and lamb will be made illegal, and construction of new buildings will not be permitted in order to meet the legal commitment of zero emissions by 2050.
The report states that all airports must close between 2020 and 2029 excluding Heathrow, Glasgow and Belfast airports, which can only stay open on the condition that transfers to and from the airport are done via rail.
All remaining airports must then close between 2030 and 2049 as to meet the legal commitment of zero emissions by 2050 every citizen of the United Kingdom must “stop using aeroplanes” for a significant period of time.

BREAKING: Dead body found across the street from Chinese Consulate in Calgary

Late Wednesday night, Calgary police closed the 1000 block of 6th Avenue S.W. after a dead body was found laying next to running vehicle. Police have the entire street surrounding the Chinese consulate covered in crime tape.
Last week, a man was taken into custody in Calgary after stabbing multiple people, putting at least one victim in critical condition.
These incidents are happening on the regular in Calgary as of late.
