by David Ng, Breitbart:
Two prominent Republican lawmakers are probing a series of lawsuits against major oil companies brought by the California law firm Sher Edling. Among the topics of the probe is the source of alleged dark money funding for the suits, with claims that Leonardo DiCaprio has indirectly funneled money into the effort through his environmental fund.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) announced Monday they sent a letter to Sher Edling partners, saying the ultimate goal of the lawsuits is to kill fossil fuels.

The Speaker of the Canadian House of Commons, Anthony Rota, has publicly apologized for encouraging the nation’s parliament to give a standing ovation for Yaroslav Hunka, a Ukrainian Second World War veteran who actively fought for Adolf Hitler and the Nazis.
Rota claimed that Hunka, 98, was a “Ukrainian hero and a Canadian hero” who “fought for Ukrainian independence against the Russians and continues to support the troops today,” whereupon Members of the Canadian parliament from all parties, standing alongside Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, applauded Hunka twice.

A top Democrat in the House has detailed how her caucus is prepared to help Republican Speaker Kevin McCarthy keep his job in exchange for ending the impeachment inquiry he launched into President Joe Biden’s actions just weeks ago.
Congresswoman Katherine Clark (D-MA), the minority whip, promised she could marshal the votes to help McCarthy avoid an attempt by conservative Republicans to vacate the speaker’s chair which would require near-unanimous support from Democrats as well. Rep. Clark told POLITICO that she also intends to force McCarthy into a corner on aid to Ukraine and his ongoing negotiations with the White House to avoid a government shutdown.
by Ron Paul, Ron Paul Institute:
Former President Donald Trump infuriated many anti-abortion voters last week when he refused to commit to national abortion restrictions and seemed to blame them for Republican losses in the 2022 mid-term elections. Trump even criticized the six-week abortion ban signed by Florida Governor (and fellow Republican candidate) Ron DeSantis. So, not only is Trump balking at national restrictions but he is criticizing a state restriction. What are pro-life voters to do?

Did you know the US Army missed its recent recruiting goal by 25% or 60,000 new soldiers?
It’s the worst recruiting crisis for the Pentagon since the end of the draft in 1973.
Even families with military backgrounds, typically the source of most recruits, are becoming less inclined to endorse military life.

The Biden administration on Monday announced a $2 billion loan for Poland that will go toward modernizing Warsaw’s military.
“Today, the United States is proud to announce the signing of a milestone $2 billion Foreign Military Financing (FMF) direct loan agreement to support Poland’s defense modernization,” the State Department said in a press release.
The State Department said the US would also provide $60 million in FMF funds to cover the cost of the loan. The press release described Warsaw as a “stalwart US ally” as Poland has become a major hub for arms shipments to Ukraine and spends more on its military than most European NATO members.

What could it be? This is a real mystery. I’m sure the FDA and CDC are racking their scientific brains trying to figure this out. I’m sure “The Science” initiated multiple research inquiries into this horrible trend. Or maybe he just joined the Board of Pfizer and collected his $200,000 speaking fees at Big Pharma conferences. And the regime media dutifully did not report these facts, while Pfizer showered them with advertising revenue. I’m sure this is the result of climate change, gas stoves, cows farting, and mis-gendering.
