This essay was inspired by SurvivalBlog reader R.T., who recently sent me a photo of his accumulation of 17 hand-crank kitchen grinders. In bygone years, almost every family owned one of these. But they have gradually been replaced by more fragile electric blenders, electric meat grinders, and food processors. So, most of these sturdy old machines have been unwisely discarded. I assume that R.T. found most of his at yard sales and at thrift stores. He included the caption: “One is none and two is one, but seventeen?”

The district court judge who recently blocked President Donald Trump’s efforts to deport illegal alien gang members attended a suspiciously partisan legal conference just months before his ruling, according to a judicial ethics report.
Judge James Boasberg, who serves on the D.C. District Court, participated in what appears to be nothing more than a Democrat strategy session masquerading as a legal conference in Sun Valley, Idaho.
The conference’s agenda items, “Judges in a Democracy” and “State of Democracy,” sound eerily similar to the Democrats’ tiresome 2024 campaign rhetoric about “saving democracy” — which, of course, has become the justification for their using the courts to obstruct Trump’s agenda.

This interview began with the information available about President Kennedy’s assassination. I made the point that there is more conclusive evidence that JFK’s assassination was the result of a Joint Chiefs-CIA-Secret Service plot in James W. Douglass’ book, JFK and the Unspeakable, than there is in the released CIA files. The CIA is not going to keep a dossier of its own crimes.
The discussion moved on to alternative explanations, such as President Kennedy was assassinated by Israel, because he was putting pressure to prevent Israel from producing nuclear weapons. The morning of my interview by Larry, Ron Unz blamed Israel in his interview by Mike Whitney. I noted that Israel had no ability or cause to alter an official autopsy or ability to send Jack Ruby into a Dallas jail to shoot Oswald before he could talk.
