China: Kremlin Drone Attack Crossed a ‘Red Line’ in Ukraine War

by Frances Martel, Breitbart:

The Chinese Global Times government newspaper described the alleged drone attack on the Kremlin early Wednesday morning as the crossing of a “red line” in the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine: the targeting of heads of state.

Videos surfaced on Wednesday of unidentified objects in the airspace above the Kremlin in Moscow on Wednesday, apparently attempting to target the Russian capital. Russian officials announced shortly thereafter that the skyward objects civilians observed were armed drones deployed in an attempt, they claimed, to assassinate Vladimir Putin. The Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry vowed “imminent and inevitable punishment” for the culprits once an investigation identifies them and, without directly blaming Ukraine, claimed the drone incident was proof of the necessity of Russia’s ongoing invasion of the country.

In 2022, the Pentagon announced it was testing technology that would allow one person to control 130 robots. Apparently they have not given up on that goal.

The U.S. military will be unable to fully exploit drones until it can enable fewer people to control more robots, says Anduril’s Chris Brose, who says his company has found a way to do just that.

Multiple drones targeted an oil refinery in southern Russia, resulting in a large fire. “Four drones were used in an attack on an oil refinery in the Krasnodar Region, where an oil storage reservoir caught fire on Thursday night,” TASS reports. The Kremlin is blaming Washington and Kiev’s Western backers for the cross-border operation.

If you thought the Beltway class learned anything moral or productive from the boondoggles, fiascos, and human tragedies of their post 9/11/01 foreign policy decisions, think again.

Essentially he’s calling for a ‘decapitation’ strike of the government in Kiev.

As for Zelensky, he’s vehemently denied his government was behind the attack, which Russia is asserting was an assassination attempt targeting Putin.
