Whether it’s the threat of looming tariffs, a shortage of metal due to over-leverage, a repatriation before revaluation, or something else, what’s undeniable is the surge of activity in and around the COMEX, its vaults, and its monthly delivery schedule ever since Trump won the U.S. presidential election late last year.
We’ve been writing, speculating, and opining upon the reasons for the unusual price and physical activity in gold (and silver) for several weeks now. For today, though, let’s dispense with the “why” and instead focus upon the “what”, the “where”, and the “how”.
by Ron Paul, Ron Paul Institute:
We do not have free speech to talk about the weather. Our Founders, particularly James Madison who drafted the Bill of Rights, understood that our rights are not privileges granted to us by government. No, it was understood at the founding that these basic natural rights outlined by Madison were granted by our Creator and thus no mere mortal could take them away. And first among these is the First Amendment which recognizes that most basic of our natural rights: the right to express ourselves in any way we wish.

Organizations once referred to as the “mainstream media,” perhaps more accurately described as establishment or fake media, are losing public trust at warp speed. Many outlets are letting go of employees quickly even as salaries are reined in.
At the local level, big shifts are happening too. With leftwing local newspapers struggling, folding, and being bought out by huge conglomerates, a new startup company, yourNEWS, threatens to roll up what’s left of that sector, too.

Signalgate: Big coincidence or Deep State Operation? The media would say this is a conspiracy theory, but is it?
How did Jeffrey Goldberg get invited to the Signal Chat, which the media tried to make into a Watergate-level crisis?
“Somebody would have had to have done that,” Blaze reporter Jason Buttrill says, adding that “Signal has an interesting funding history.”
by Derek Hunter, Townhall:
Everyone in politics is against waste, fraud and abuse…until they find themselves in a position to do something about it, then they go radio silent. They talk a good game, but that’s it. Action, in politics at least, is a difficult commodity to come by. Rather than waiting for everyone to agree, or even some from the other side to come on board, Republicans need to strike hard while they can and gut as much of the garbage in government as they can, starting with National Public Radio and the Public Broadcasting Service.
by Stephen Green, PJ Media:
You too can be reimbursed for up to $200, and all you have to do is protest Department of Government Efficiency chief Elon Musk from the comfort of a Tesla dealership. It isn’t clear whether the offer from the left-wing Indivisible Project covers the cost of spray paint, keys, or bail, but money is fungible — so wink-wink, nudge-nudge, comrade.

“Teachers and school leaders involved in this insanity should be ashamed of themselves”
Department for Education data in the UK has revealed that a toddler under the age of four was kicked out of a nursery after being accused of being “transphobic.”
Yes, really.
The Telegraph reports that the child was removed during the 2022-23 academic year for “abuse against sexual orientation and gender identity.”
