When Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s latest statement has not yet finished scandalizing the faithful and causing division among pastors, here comes a new one, of the same sign, that opens another wound in the battered body of the Church.

Bishop José Negri, Bishop of Santo Amaro in Brazil, regarding the participation in the sacrament of baptism and marriage by transgender and homoaffective persons” were recently published, dated October 31, 2023 (an unofficial English translation can be found here).

Big banks are in trouble, but you are not going to hear about it until it’s too late. Banks are losing deposits at an alarming rate. Meanwhile, they have big losses on the books because of rising interest rates. This is all causing the biggest liquidity problems since the Great Recession. In other words, the banks need money to cover losses and conduct business. Record government interest payments mean Washington does not have the money for a bailout. The problem is not going to get better anytime soon, and it is getting worse by the day. You have been warned.
New bombings are taking place in the Middle East, and we are not talking about the Israeli/Hamas war. This bombing is taking place in Syria by the U.S. Airforce. This is to punish and degrade Iran proxies who have attacked American Troops 46 times in the last few weeks. An enemy weapon storage facility was blown up, but further attacks against U.S. forces keep coming. 56 soldiers have been wounded in these attacks. Secretary Lloyd Austin says he does not want “escalation,” but that is exactly what he is getting from Iran.

With the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference starting later this month in Dubai, we will soon face an avalanche of climate alarmism that will take us well into the holiday season. “The Science is clear—without drastic action, we face a planetary climate emergency!” will be the clarion cry from annoying family members who just won’t shut up about the supposed climate crisis, even in the middle of Christmas dinner.
It’s therefore important that we start to bone up on the many simple points you can bring up to calm frightened relatives and guide your next family gatherings back to more pleasant topics.

On October 20 we reported that JPMorgan Chase, a serial recidivist when it comes to crime, had paid $1.085 billion in legal expenses in just the last six months. A nice chunk of that money went to the Big Law firm, WilmerHale, which has been representing JPMorgan Chase this year in multiple lawsuits involving the bank’s dark history of financial dealings with child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. (See Related Articles at the bottom of this article.)
When the largest bank in the United States pays big bucks to a law firm with a roster of 1,000 attorneys, it doesn’t expect its $290 million class action settlement with Jeffrey Epstein’s victims to blow up in its face just days before the final Fairness Hearing – a legally required court event to determine if the terms of the agreement are “fair, adequate and reasonable.”
