Mystery Swirls Over Batch of Thousands of 2020 Voter Registration Forms in Michigan

Two weeks before the 2020 election, a woman dropped off more than 10,000 voter registration forms with a city clerk in Muskegon, Michigan.

The number of forms was a red flag for the city clerk, Ann Meisch. Fewer than 4,000 of the city’s voting-age residents weren’t already registered to vote.

Ms. Meisch called the police, triggering an investigation by the Michigan State Police. An Oct. 26, 2020, police report from that probe recently surfaced after Michigan state lawmakers obtained it through a Freedom of Information request.

The federal government has added $1.3 trillion to the national debt in just three months.

When the fake debt ceiling fight ended and Congress suspended the federal government’s borrowing limit for two years in June, the national debt stood at $31.46 trillion. As of Aug. 26, the debt had surged to $32.81 trillion.

And with the Biden administration running massive deficits month after month, there’s no reason to think the borrowing is going to slow down anytime soon.

According to a report by NBC News, which is also state-run media, U.S., and South Korean militaries have been separately holding summer bilateral exercises since last week. North Korea views such U.S.-involved training as an invasion rehearsal, though Washington and its partners maintain their drills are defensive.

The effort is part of a commitment made by G7 nations at the recent NATO summit in Vilnius to negotiate their own bilateral security deals with Ukraine. Besides the G7 nations, 18 other countries have agreed to provide long-term military support for Kyiv.
