Update(1612ET): The Syrian Army has fired missiles toward the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights Tuesday evening (local), breaking reports indicate. The Israeli Defense Force have confirmed the attack:
This raises the risk of a broader conflict which spirals, given the earlier exchange of fire in northern Lebanon between Israel and likely Hezbollah positions. Al Jazeera senior correspondent Zeina Khodr writes on the significance of the Golan mortar fire from Syria:

An academic study released in April found that during the fastest pace of Fed interest rate hikes in 40 years, the majority of U.S. banks failed to hedge their interest rate risk.
The study on hedging is titled: Limited Hedging and Gambling for Resurrection by U.S. Banks During the 2022 Monetary Tightening? Its authors are Erica Jiang, Assistant Professor of Finance and Business Economics at USC Marshall School of Business; Gregor Matvos, Chair in Finance at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University; Tomasz Piskorski, Professor of Real Estate in the Finance Division at Columbia Business School; and Amit Seru, Professor of Finance at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

“Escalation” will be a word that is used a lot in the coming days. Once Israel sends troops into Gaza, it is going to trigger a series of events that nobody is going to be able to control. But there is no turning back now. When Hamas decided to rape women, behead children and kidnap the elderly, they made any other course of action impossible. Israel must go into Gaza. And as I write this article, we are witnessing the largest mobilization of Israelis troops that we have seen since the Yom Kippur War…

In a bid to address the influx of illegal migrants, New York City has announced plans to starve senior citizens in nursing homes to feed the illegal aliens.
The cost to house illegals, allowed into the country by the Biden regime, the Big Apple has to pay hotels bills of around $500 per room per night. What’s more, Bloomberg informed in June, the projected cost of housing migrants from April 2022 to July 2024 is a whopping $4.3 billion.

Historically speaking, inflation/stagflation has always been a disastrous affair. One is hard pressed to find any legitimate examples of a country that experienced an aggressive inflationary event that came out better for it. A rare scenario would be one in which a nation inflates to fund a war that they then win, but usually negative consequences still happen later down the road.
The problem is that the effects of inflation can be subtle and far reaching, quietly creeping up on a population until suddenly there’s a tidal wave of societal crises. In the US (and much of the western world) we are already witnessing elements of inflationary disaster; there’s a good reason why around 60% of Americans now have a pessimistic view of the future, with a majority of people saying life is worse for them today than it was in the past.

War is a constant, or at least it seems to be because of the constant states of war shifting around the world involving one group or another against some other nation, tribe, religion or peoples. Some places seem to be involved in war more often than other places and some cultures seem to be at war more often than other cultures. As you study history, you learn not only of leaders, peoples, cultures, religions, geographies and so forth but also the wars as it seems that is the driving force behind so much of history. War seems to be the adhesive that binds peoples, nations and cultures as well as the solvent that destroys them eventually. Some are destroyed more rapidly than others, and there seems to be certain ones that fall under that shadow far more often than others. Whether a warlike peoples or a peace loving peoples, those distinctions appear to be more perception than actual fact especially as we move through time in looking at any specific people. In this case, we will look at the Arabic peoples that are predominantly Muslim in culture and religion (please note that an all encompassing religion IS THE CULTURE) and see just how they are portrayed and involved in war.

The Republicans condemned Biden for providing Iran with a $6 billion ransom in exchange for hostages. “This decision will be extremely deadly. Biden is giving $6 billion to the world’s leading sponsor of state terrorism,” Trump said, promising that the funds would be used for immediate violence and to enhance Iran’s nuclear weapons program. The least patriotic president in history provided Iran with the funding on the anniversary of 9/11. He left countless people behind in Afghanistan, but we are to believe he paid $6 billion for the release of five US citizens? This was a mass set up by the neocons to begin the next World War.

The families of several kidnap and murder victims from the savage Hamas attack on Saturday have reported the terrorists using the cell phones and social media accounts of their victims to send them graphic photos and taunting text messages.
The woman referenced in the above incident, Mor Bayder, said Hamas uploaded a graphic photo of her grandmother’s corpse to her own Facebook account on Saturday morning. The photo was taken with her slain grandmother’s phone.

The fear-mongering over COVID is still going strong too, even as we stare down the barrel of another world war. The media laments that people are no longer fearful enough of the common cold and its “variants” so there should be more totalitarian control over the public, such as monitoring and testing.
Cases in England are rising again, with a 10% rise overall in hospital admissions and the greatest increase in the north of England. With testing reduced, and national monitoring paused (the ONS infection survey paused since spring and only recently relaunched) the ruling classes “have much less data about Covid than we ever had before,” according to a report by The Guardian. What the rulers have decided is that COVID hasn’t stopped evolving, and they claim to have a good idea about what sort of situations might result in new and dangerous mutations, but with less surveillance of emerging variants and spread, we are losing what used to be a near real-time picture of the situation.
