The deep state which pulled off the murder (and many more after that), didn’t suddenly come into existence on that day. It was already there, and an arguable could made that it had been there since at least the days of Woodrow Wilson, a character about whom any remarks or assessments are best left charitably unstated.

The only reason Brown’s confirmation has not been brought to a vote is because of Senator Tommy Tuberville’s blanket hold on all votes for military officer promotions that require Senate confirmation. While Tuberville’s hold is primarily an effort to stop the Department of Defense (DoD) from funding assistance to service members seeking abortion, it is worth noting that Brown’s views on race and gender diversity in the services are every bit as controversial as government funding of abortion assistance.

The latest national survey found that Milei is at 35 percent support among the Argentinian public, far ahead of Economy Minister Sergio Massa, on 25 percent, and Patricia Bullrich, on 23 percent. He is also the clear winner in a second-round runoff election against either candidate, with a 19 percent lead over Massa and an eight percent advantage over Bullrich.
