The FAA has been watching Dementia Joe Biden fly the United States directly into the ground for three years and decided to do for civil aviation what the White House has done for peace and prosperity. Nothing better reflects a “crash and burn” leadership style than elevating unqualified people into positions where they can do the most harm. It’s worked for the West Wing, the Pentagon, and the Treasury Department! Why not for the agency responsible for air traffic control and passenger safety? What could possibly go wrong?

Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) is set to introduce the SCHUMER Act, requiring any Member of Congress supporting sending U.S. troops to fight in Ukraine to join them on the front lines. The Flordia Republican’s bill is in direct response to recent comments made by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), in which he threatened that U.S. military forces would be sent to Ukraine unless Congress authorized additional funding for the nation.
“I make no apologies,” Rep. Luna said, adding: “My bill, the SCHUMER Act, would require Members of Congress to fight on the front lines in Ukraine if they support Schumer’s calls for American sons & daughters to fight.” The legislation would require any Capitol Hill lawmaker who backs sending American soldiers to Ukraine to enlist alongside them and serve a six-month tour as part of a contingency operation.

In response to the virus pandemic and nationwide Black Lives Matter riots in the summer of 2020, some elite colleges and universities shredded testing requirements for admission. Several years later, the test-optional admission has yet to produce the promising results for racial and class-based equity that many woke academic institutions wished.
The failure of test-optional admission policies has forced Dartmouth College to reinstate standardized test scores for admission starting next year. This should never have been eliminated, as merit will always prevail.
