Russia unleashed waves of air strikes on Kyiv overnight in what officials said appeared to be the largest drone attack on the city since the start of the war, as the Ukrainian capital prepared to celebrate the anniversary of its founding on Sunday.
The war between Russia and Ukraine is well into its ‘second season’, and it shows little signs of stopping anytime soon, or for that matter, even slowing down. In Ukraine, Zelensky has used the conflict to bring in over $200 billion in cash and munitions, becoming a sort of ersatz ‘celebrity‘ in the process. In Russia, Putin is doing, well, no one really knows what Putin is doing, but he’s doing a lot of it. As Ukraine prepared to celebrate ‘Kyiv Day’, Russia was pleased to provide the fireworks.

It wasn’t that long ago that Mitt Romney was threatening former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard for suggesting the US was funding biolabs in Ukraine.
Back in March 2022, RINO Senator Mitt Romney accused former Democrat Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of spreading ‘treasonous lies’ for simply talking about the US-funded biolabs in Ukraine.

Russia turned Bakhmut into the graveyard of Ukrainian military power, Col. Douglas MacGregor (ret.) explains ‘what comes next’ in his latest opinion piece at The American Conservative:
Until the fighting begins, national military strategy developed in peacetime shapes thinking about warfare and its objectives. Then the fighting creates a new logic of its own. Strategy is adjusted. Objectives change. The battle for Bakhmut illustrates this point very well.

Illegal immigrants are coached to voluntarily withdraw their asylum claims, return to Mexico, and then come back to the United States on humanitarian grounds, according to a U.S. Border Patrol union leader.
Manny Bayon, a National Border Patrol Council union spokesman in San Diego, told The Epoch Times on May 26 that migrants who enter the United States illegally in Yuma, Arizona, are being bused to the San Ysidro and Otay Mesa ports of entry in San Diego County. From there, he said, they are returned to Mexico but are allowed to re-enter the United States by applying for “humanitarian parole” via the “CBP One” mobile phone app.

For a few months, a colour revolution had been brewing in Israel. Tens of thousands of citizens demonstrated, every Saturday night, predominantly in Tel Aviv, but elsewhere too. The demos caused traffic jams and interfered badly with daily life in the country. At its height, over 250 000 persons participated in one demonstration in Tel Aviv. Then PM Bibi Netanyahu postponed his legal reforms until after the holidays. It helped a bit: the demos slimmed in size and intensity. Frictions with Palestinians have also helped the PM. Still, it was a strong movement, similar to such movements in other countries, such as the Kiev Maidan, the NY Occupy, the Beirut Gucci Revolution, Arab Spring, Velvet Rising, Orange Revolution, Dignity Revolution etc. et al.

The Russian military reportedly shot down two British-supplied Storm Shadow cruise missiles over the past 24 hours, as the Kremlin condemned the “Anglo-Saxon” support of Ukraine’s war effort.
Russia’s Ministry of Defence on Saturday claimed to have shot down two UK Storm Shadow cruise missiles fired by Ukrainian forces over the previous day.
Moscow also claimed that its air defence systems had also destroyed “12 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” during the same time frame, Russian state-owned domestic news agency RIA reported.
by Shane Trejo, Big League Politics:
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin stated on Wednesday that the relationship between Russia and China has reached an “unprecedented high level” as the American foreign policy in Ukraine backfires spectacularly.
China, the world’s fastest rising superpower, has embraced Russia due to the psychotic belligerence of the U.S. government as they create a dangerous proxy war in Ukraine and inch closer to World War 3. The U.S. is also threatening China over their policy regarding Taiwan. The result is that Russia is growing closer with more powerful global allies.

The US National Security Agency (NSA) issued a warning to all members of the Five Eyes organization that China has launched a cyber attack against the US. “Private sector partners have identified that this activity affects networks across U.S. critical infrastructure sectors, and the authoring agencies believe the actor could apply the same techniques against these and other sectors worldwide,” the report states. They are attributing the attack to a state group by the name of Volt Typhoon.
