I checked with Google Bard. Looks like only 1 USC player every 100 years, on average will have a cardiac arrest. So how can there be 2 in the last year?
Based on overall statistics, it appears that USC should normally expect to see about 1 cardiac arrest of a basketball player every 100 years or so.
So two events within a 12 month period is statistically highly unlikely. This means there is an external cause.

The world was shocked to discover that LeBron James’ 18-year-old son, Bronny, had a heat attack while playing basketball at USC. The CDC reported today that as many as 450,000 people in the United States might have been affected by a red-meat allergy called alpha-gal syndrome associated with tick bites. It has some Internet sleuths wondering if it is part of a secret agenda to to fight climate change.
According to two recent reports, between 2010 and 2022, there were more than 110,000 suspected cases of alpha-gal syndrome identified. The cases has increased every year. However, the CDC suspects the majority of cases go unreported and untested and estimate the number to be much higher.

In March 2022, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned of a “hurricane of hunger and a meltdown of the global food system” in the wake of the crisis in Ukraine.
Guterres said food, fuel and fertiliser prices were skyrocketing with supply chains being disrupted and added this is hitting the poorest the hardest and planting the seeds for political instability and unrest around the globe.
According to the International Panel of Experts on Sustainable Food Systems, there is currently sufficient food and no risk of global food supply shortages.

The U.K. is weighing an initiative to rubber stamp drugs already sanctioned abroad, but critics warn the plan undercuts safety standards and signals a move toward the World Health Organization’s “One Health” strategy.
The U.K.’s drug regulator, the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), is weighing a plan that would result in what The BMJ has described as “near automatic sign off” for medicines “already approved by ‘trusted’ regulators in other parts of the world.”

On March 3, an illegal bio lab was discovered in a believed-to-be vacant building in Reedley, California in Fresno County. City code enforcement stumbled upon the building in December 2022 when they discovered a garden hose running up into the building through a hole in the wall. In March, they obtained a warrant to inspect the property, and in April, the Fresno County Department of Public Health ordered an inspection of the facility.

Remdesivir may be the most despised drug in American history, earning the nickname Run Death Is Near for its lethal record during COVID. Experts claimed that it would stop COVID; instead, it stopped kidney function, then blasted the liver and other organs. Now this reviled destroyer of kidneys has been approved by the FDA for COVID treatment of kidney patients. Does anybody else feel as if the FDA is shoving its power in our faces and laughing at us?

In a heartfelt and emotional announcement, Lars Dendoncker, a former Premier League star and Belgian professional footballer, revealed his early retirement from football at 22.
Citing a diagnosed heart condition, Dendoncker has opted to prioritize his health over his passion and illustrious career in professional football.
Last year, Dendoncker wrote on his Instagram, “I have been through tough times the past few months. Six months ago I was about to make a transfer to a new club. I did my medical and something wasn’t right with my heart condition. I suffered from myocarditis. But I did not have many symptoms. I had to stop playing football for 3 months and undergo further examination. I am still waiting for some second opinions and will keep everyone posted on my future.”
