Universities Have a 2025 Rendezvous With Reality

by Victor Davis Hanson, Townhall:

Universities have suffered a cataclysmic decline in public approval and support.

A Gallup poll taken this year found that only 36 percent of Americans polled either expressed “a great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in higher education — once the agreed-on touchstone to upward mobility.

Gifting to most universities has been down for two consecutive years.

There is zero intellectual diversity on most university campuses.

They’re STILL Counting Votes, but Four Million Are Still Missing

by Robert Spencer, PJ Media:

The presidential election of 2024 was three weeks ago, but as of Tuesday morning, New Jersey has still counted only 91% of the votes that were cast (or something) there. California and Oregon have only gotten around to counting 93%. And so, several times a day, the popular vote totals for Donald Trump and Kamala Harris continue to be adjusted. Trump still has a comfortable lead, but Harris has (surprise, surprise) been steadily narrowing that lead. On what is quaintly still referred to as Election Day, Trump’s popular vote lead was about 4.5 million; now it’s down to 2.4 million and decreasing, but should still hold. The real question is: What happened to the four million voters who turned out for Old Joe Biden in 2020 but were nowhere to be found in 2024.

Will Washington Destroy the World?

by Paul Craig Roberts, Paul Craig Roberts:

Americans who think themselves  informed because they watch CNN, read the NY Times, and listen to NPR, regard my warnings about nuclear war as disinformation, even hysteria.  They say that US government officials, such as Secretary of State Blinken and National Security advisor Jake Sullivan, are not stupid or insane.

Dear readers, you tell me how you can give permission for the US and NATO to fire missiles into Russia, especially when the Russian President has clearly stated it means the US and NATO are at war with Russia, and not be stupid and insane.  That Blinken and Sullivan gave this permission in the face of Russia revising her war doctrine and permitting nuclear weapons to be used at a lower threshold indicates that the United States has a Secretary of State and National Security Advisor who are disconnected from reality.

Texas AG announces investigation of ad cartel that conspired to boycott X

by Cassie B., Natural News:

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has announced that he is investigating a liberal advertising cabal over allegations that it carried out a conspiracy to boycott particular social media platforms.

According to a statement by his office, he will be looking into whether the World Federation of Advertising (WFA) and its nonprofit wing known as the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) pressed advertisers to avoid buying advertising space on sites that it claims did not adhere to its so-called “brand safety standards.”

Alleged Would-Be Trump Assassin Ryan Routh Touts Direct Connection to Thomas Matthew Crooks

by Randy DeSoto, The Gateway Pundit:

Alleged would-be Donald Trump assassin Ryan Routh wrote in a letter to the news outlet Politico that he shared a trait with Butler shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Routh, who has pleaded not guilty to the charge of attempted assassination of Trump in September, argued in a letter sent to Politico writer Ankush Khardori before this month’s election, saying that he, like Crooks, was “ready to die for freedom and democracy.”

Popular Asthma Drug May Cause Serious Mental Health Issues in Children and Adults, FDA Data Reveals

from The Conservative Treehouse:

The President Trump transition team has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to start the process of transferring control of the federal government.  The landing teams from each of the cabinets will now begin to engage with their exiting counterparts.

There were many articles written about the delays in signing the agreements.  However, President Trump waited until he has his cabinet fully assembled before signing the first part that permits the landing teams to engage.  The second part with government provided offices and technology is NOT being accepted.

Russian State Media: ‘How Fast Can Oreshnik Missile Hit US Bases Across The World?’

from ZeroHedge:

Russia continues to warn the West over its newly unveiled Oreshnik medium-range hypersonic ballistic missile. The Kremlin days ago touted that Washington has now understood and better been able to grasp Putin’s warnings and red lines more clearly after last Thursday’s missile strike on a Ukrainian defense industry facility in Dnepropetrovsk. Importantly, the Oreshnik is capable of delivering a nuclear warhead.

Trump Is Having Difficulty Getting a Lawyer to Accept the Nomination for SEC Chair: Here’s Why

by Pam Martens and Russ Martens, Wall St On Parade:

The former mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani, has learned the hard way the cost of loyalty to Donald Trump and his prevarications. Giuliani has lost his New York law license; was disbarred in Washington, D.C.; has been ordered by a court to pay two defamed Georgia election workers, Ruby Freeman and her daughter, Shaye Moss, $148 million in damages after they became the victims of harassment and death threats after he and Trump spread voter fraud claims about them. This month, Giuliani pleaded for donations to his fundraising page, saying he can’t afford to buy food.
