Planning a “Code of Conduct.”
In an apparent display of bureaucratic synergy, the European Union and United Nations have convened to muse over the implementation of new social media regulations, ostensibly in the pursuit of a more secure and transparent digital milieu. What stirs apprehension, however, is the overt enthusiasm of the UN’s Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications, Melissa Fleming, who anticipates that the EU’s Digital Services Act will establish a “new de facto global regulatory benchmark.” The skepticism arises from the suspicion of veiled intentions to curb free speech under the guise of combating “disinformation.”

The money that was approved to be spent and was supposed to be there for the next five years has already been spent, says Hungary’s PM
The first question asked by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in his Facebook post is: “The only question everyone is asking here in Brussels is: Where has the money gone?”
Orbán is currently attending the two-day summit of EU leaders in Brussels, and one of the hottest topics is the question as to where the EU’s budget money has disappeared to. The Hungarian prime minister said that the European Commission had submitted a budget amendment proposal asking member states to pay tens of billions of euros.

Nigel Farage has said his bank accounts have been shut down to force him out of the U.K. due to his position on Brexit and accusations that he has taken money from Vladimir Putin’s regime in Russia. The Mail has more.
In an extraordinary six-minute video published on Twitter, the former Brexit Party and UKIP leader, said he was a victim of “political persecution” and suggested he was trying to be forced out of the U.K.
by Greg Boulden, America Outloud:
Conversations in our country are often sidelined when people label one side as a “grifter” or spreader of “conspiracy theories.” Philosophers reached enlightenment by continually questioning reality and asking questions to further understanding. On social media and in mainstream media, the statements to trust the news, and trust the science, lead us to expert culture. This is an attempt by weak minds to resist leaving their area of comfort and settle for the mediocrity of knowledge.
by Dawn Merrill, American Thinker:
Human beings are hardwired for a belief system. You, as a human being, are pre-programmed to believe in something. Why do so many people today believe in things that are, objectively, untrue? And how do we get our Nation back?
Any student of history can tell you why. Common belief systems evolved as a mechanism of basic survival. Survival today is far less difficult than in the past, and that is part of how and why current belief systems are so fractured. When societies start to break down, tribalism forms, and previously common belief systems collapse. Nature abhors a vacuum.

Ah, yes, the month of June. Such a beautiful month. The weather is nice, summer is coming, kids are finishing school. What’s not to like? Well, in the past years, the powers that be turned this beautiful month into one of the most annoying months of the year. Because now, June is Pride Month.
Apparently, a Pride Day wasn’t enough. A Pride Week neither. It had to be a whole month. Also, the “celebrations” cannot be tasteful and respectful. They have to be invasive, abrasive, and, for some reason, often targeted at children.
