President Biden just extended the state of emergency for another 90 days, the 12th such extension. Do you know what is REALLY happening inside the hospitals? It’s not what they told you.
Today, I drove to my local hospital, El Camino Hospital, in Mountain View. I asked where the COVID ward was. They refused to tell me. I asked if I could speak to someone and they said they would call a nurse to come speak to me. I was short on time and had to leave, but then I called the hospital later and at first they insisted I had to have a patient’s name. Then I said I was a journalist and they transferred me to an extension which rang forever. Darn!
Is US Mainstream Media Dead?

I was looking at some new Gallup poll data and had a thought about which people truly trust mainstream media still.
I do believe a seismic shift in media is occurring and has been for over a decade. In very simple terms it seems the trust in mainstream media is dying while there is a growing trust in independent and alternative media.
Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of problems in alternative media as well, but I think people are willing to take their chances listening to alt voices given there isn’t much of a reason to solely rely on a consistently wrong, tightly controlled, and narrow-minded mainstream media.
