Even as the company lays off thousands of employees from other departments, the Meta-owned Facebook social media platform is bolstering its censorship department, specifically with regards to climate change.
A new tool from the Mark Zuckerberg empire will help to “combat climate misinformation” while promoting “authoritative climate information,” reports indicate. There is also a “fact-check” component that Facebook plans to use to identify and remove said “climate misinformation.”
