Noncitizen migrant workers have been receiving fliers which are encouraging them to vote in the upcoming election, according to a bombshell report.
An investigation by Fox 2 St. Louis described how employers have claimed that noncitizens have received union mailers at their workplace that read, “Stop the Steal by stopping Trump’s allies. Vote for Harris-Walz and pro-worker candidates.”

Fox 2 learned of the incident by the manager of a local landscaping business who did not wish to be identified.
“The company’s manager told us their migrant worker employees, who are from Mexico, are all background-checked and have legal H-2B visas which allow their temporary stay here,” Fox Files reporter Chris Hayes said, adding the migrants also allowed union representation and pay dues to the Washington D.C.-based union called “Liuna!”
“But the manager cannot understand why the union would send the mailers to non-U.S. citizens encouraging their vote in the presidential election,” Hayes said, noting the union has also been ignoring the outlet’s requests for comment.
In response to the bombshell report, Missouri’s Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft called on state lawmakers to pass legislation requiring proof of citizenship in order to vote.
“I think it shows why we need a law in Missouri that requires individiauls to show proof of citizenship before they register and before they vote,” Ashcroft told the outlet. “You can register online without any sort of proof of citizenship. You can register without even and ID.”
“Now, we have implemented in Missouri a requirement that no one is allowed to get a ballot, even if they’re registered, until they have proven their identity at least once. So that is an extra check we have,” he added.
Ashcroft also noted that some noncitizens have been coming forward revealing they’ve been automatically registered to vote in the upcoming election.
“They’ve been automatically registered, even when they didn’t want to be, and I applaud those individuals for coming forward,” he said.
