So, we all woke up this morning to find that no one dropped a nuke anywhere in the Middle East last night, which wasn’t a given when heading upstairs to bed, so there is that.

With the direct missile barrage against Israel by Iran, instead of simply continuing to use their proxies in Hezbollah and Hamas, the chances of a wider, boots on the ground, hot World War, just multiplied exponentially.
Iran fired waves of ballistic missiles at Israel on Tuesday evening in an assault that was mostly thwarted, according to the Israeli authorities, but one that made the prospect of a direct all-out war between two of the more powerful militaries in the Middle East more likely.
Make no mistake, this report is not an open invitation to the Jew haters or Muslim haters to rant and rave like lunatics in the comment section, so don’t.
It matters not who one blames or hates, what matters is how other countries are reacting, and signs they, and the U.S. are about to become far more involved than just arming, or defending Israel or Iran. Russia, China, the U.S, the UK, and other nations have already taken sides, whether with weapons, financial assistance, or other types of “involvement.”
This pits large nuclear powers against other nuclear powers each other in defense of their “chosen” side. Now imagine said “involvement” being more than just outside help, but military forces, and nuclear weapons used to “win” a war that truly can have no winner as tens of millions, maybe hundreds of millions die.

What is missing in the chart above, is that many believe Iran already has nuclear weapons, while the media has insisted for decades that Iran is edging closer, yet never admitting that they have no way to know whether Iran is a nuclear power already, or not.

Since 2022, Iranian officials have spoken openly about something long denied by Tehran as it enriches uranium at its closest-ever levels to weapons-grade material: the Islamic Republic is ready to build an atomic weapon at will. That includes Kamal Kharrazi, an adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who told Al Jazeera that Tehran has the ability to build nuclear weapons but does not intend to do so.
Iran is nuclear capable, so that too has to be added into this mix that is one big powder keg waiting for just the right spark to blow up the entire Middle East and cause other nuclear powers to directly (not through proxies as the U.S. is using Ukraine as, but that is a topic for another article) battle each other.
