Parker Thayer of the Capital Research Center emphasized how Biden’s border policies have bolstered the influence and financial coffers of immigration-related NGOs. “It’s undeniable that the Biden Administration’s border policy has benefited the network of immigration NGOs that receive massive government contracts and grants to deal with the logistical and humanitarian problems that mass illegal immigration has caused,” Thayer explained. A review of the USA Spending database shows federal spending related to immigration skyrocketing almost tenfold since 2020.

Kevin Lynn, Executive Director of the Institute for Sound Public Policy, highlighted the role of programs like the Welcome Corps, a refugee sponsorship initiative launched by the Biden-Harris administration.
