A previously unaired clip from Tucker Carlson’s show that was taped prior to his sudden exit from Fox News has surfaced revealing bombshell revelations from the former Capitol Police Chief  Steven Sund.

Sund’s story of the Capitol Riot provides a stark contrast to the media narrative that it was incited by former President Donald Trump. It has gained particular salience as the Department of Justice is now seeking to imprison Trump over January 6 and thereby prevent him from running for president in 2024.

“You’re very restrained and rational and not given to overstatement, obviously,” Tucker said. “But the facts that you are describing are shocking.”

“The reason why I’ve had a lot of people ask me, you know, why did you write this book?” Sund said. “I tried to do what I can to get the truth out. You know, they didn’t want me to testify in in February, on February 23rd, at the Senate hearing. They only wanted people that’s still currently in positions on the Hill. I actually had to go in and talk to a friend of mine on one of the oversight committees to say, I will come there in person. I want to be there. I want to testify.”

“So I’m glad you think I’m reserved. I’m, you know, to be honest with you, I’m a little pissed off,” he added. “Because if people were reporting the intelligence correctly, if I was allowed to do my job as the chief — I’ve got significant experience. If I was allowed to do my job as the chief, we wouldn’t be here today. This didn’t have happen then.”

“Everything appears to be a coverup,” he went on. ” Like I said, I’m not a conspiracy theorist but when you look at the information and intelligence they had, the military had, it’s all watered down. I’m not getting intelligence, I’m denied any support from National Guard in advance. I’m denied National Guard while we’re under attack, for 71 minutes,” Sund added.

Former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund warned the Congress six times about the high risk of impending attacks on the capitol building before the January 6th “insurrection.” Sund also said that he notified the U.S. Army five times about the danger, but his requests for increased security were ignored.

Sund posted a scathing resignation letter to former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi about the January 6 security debacle.

Tarik Johnson, a former Capitol Police lieutenant, shared his story on Thursday about talking to Tucker Carlson about January 6.

“Tucker Carlson’s show was the largest platform I’ve had to speak on to date,” Johnson said. “When I was called to do the show I was stunned. This was back in late February and I was still trying to figure out the best way to navigate through the situation.”

“When I got to Florida and spoke to Tucker off camera I didn’t tell him much more than he already knew,” he continued. “The reason was because I didn’t want to be in the center of this controversy. I just wanted to say enough to spark an investigation into the actions of Assistant Chief Yogananda Pittman and Chief J. Thomas Manger and then move on.”
