Claims “we were doing fantastic journalism”
Sacked former CNN sad sack Brian Stelter appears to still be in denial over why he was fired by the network, claiming that his ratings were good and that he was “doing fantastic journalism”.
Humpty Dumpty look-a-like Stelter made the comments during an appearance on NewsNation with Dan Abrams.

“You recently left CNN…clear they kind of push you out,” Abrams said, to which Stelter, still sporting his trademark shit-eating Pennywise the clown permagrin, replied “I’ve embraced the f word, Dan, fired!”
“Why do you think you got fired? Abrams then asked.
“I don’t know…I really, truly don’t know,” Stelter responded, adding “I know I had a popular show by CNN standards and I know that it was pretty cheap to produce. But I also know every show gets canceled eventually.”
“I think we were doing fantastic journalism at CNN for the nine years that I was there,” Stelter laughably asserted, adding that he is “content not knowing exactly what happened.”
