I believe that the root cause of our willingness to continually give away our freedoms stems from FEAR. Every day we see examples of people willingly trading their freedom out of fear. Fear of COVID, fear of terrorism, fear of COVID, fear of speaking up, and most ridiculous, fear of social disapproval.

At this point, the FBI is attacking the Catholic Church, teachers are being fired for speaking up against promoting transgenderism (child abuse) in our public schools, and our First Amendment rights are being violated on a massive scale, and it’s all because of FEAR.
The FBI is currently investigating Catholics as potential “violent extremists” and claiming the reasoning is their potential for being a “hate group,” as stated by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). Twenty state attorney generals sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland that stated, “the memorandum proposes recruiting Catholics to enter a sacred house of worship, talk to their fellow Catholics, and report those conversations back to the FBI so that the federal government can keep tabs on the bad Catholics.”
Let’s discuss this insanity from a legal perspective; for those out there with any doubts on the issue, this is ILLEGAL.
Hating someone or a group of people is not a crime, and you cannot investigate someone for that. Moreover, targeting religious institutions because some idiots at the SPLC call them a “hate group” is the foundation of the First Amendment protections for religious freedoms. The SPLC has been completely discredited for quite some time now, and the fact that the FBI or anyone else is still listening to or backing that corrupt organization is mind-blowing.
The SPLC’s founder has been quoted as having said, “civil-rights work [is] mainly a marketing tool for bilking gullible Northern liberals.” Yet here we are, having to send an army of AGs to fight the FBI’s clear violation of our First Amendment rights.
Another example of the government’s flagrant disregard for the First Amendment rights of Americans has occurred in California, where a tenured high school teacher at a Christian school was fired over her views regarding gender ideology. Jessica Tapia was fired for being unwilling to lie about the gender identity of her students to the student’s parents, and disagreeing with boys being allowed in girls’ locker rooms.
Our society wants to tell us that if you don’t like gender-transitioning children (child abuse), you are transphobic. Let me be crystal clear regarding my position on this issue, if you are involved with gender alteration in children, you are a pervert and are committing child abuse (possibly legally). Giving a 12-year-old boy puberty blockers is abuse; they are not old enough to know what is being done to them, and these drugs and surgeries have permanent, lasting negative impacts on the mental and physical health of these kids. It’s sick, it’s disgusting, and I am proud of people like Jessica Tapia for practicing her First Amendment right and standing up to this insanity.
This all goes back to the theme of the show today, fear. There are two things that have facilitated the destruction of our freedom, fear in terms of safety, and fear in terms of public acceptance. I constantly hear, what can I do to help? You can stand up! Speak up and spread the truth.
Instead, I see so many people being afraid of what their friends will say or how they might lose business and clients if they speak up; there are far too many people living in fear and not standing for God, Family, and Country. You know how many times I hear people say they don’t want to talk about their right or wrong, political views, or faith? Are you kidding me? When was the last time AOC censored herself, regardless of how absurd she sounded?
