The Displacement of Men by Women

The other day my Oxford college, Merton, dating from around 1250 AD, informed me that the female warden (president) of the college had been appointed Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University and that her replacement as head of Merton College would be another woman.

Somehow this is supposed to be joyous news to me.  But is is not. When I was a post-graduate, Merton College was an all-male college and had been for seven centuries.  Everything I remember about the experience is no more.

I have no opposition to the advancement of women.  But why was it necessary for a seven century old men’s college to become both co-ed and led by women when women had their own four Oxford colleges?

It wasn’t.  What was necessary was for a new, insubstantial, generation to piss all over tradition, because tradition represented a country that, along with its education,  was in the process of being deconstructed and remade to woke standards.  The male dons moved themselves aside as the result of their preference for virtue signaling over seven century old tradition.

The British with their open border to immigrant-invaders are no longer British. Just look at the new prime minister’s government.  It is hardly what my generation regarded as British.  The mayor of London is not an ethnic Britisher and neither, apparently, is the majority of the city’s population.  The ethnic British are being moved aside.

By 1986 every one of Oxford’s all-male colleges had become co-ed.  The four women’s colleges held out for twenty-two more years.  Today Oxford University has achieved what?

From promotional materials I receive from Oxford, it seems the university increasingly serves as entry into upper circles for women and people of color, and not as an education  for ethnic British.
