Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has officially revoked security clearances from multiple Biden-era officials, intelligence leaders, and the 51 signers of the Hunter Biden “disinformation” letter, following President Donald Trump’s directive. Additionally, the President’s Daily Brief will no longer be provided to Joe Biden.

The move expands upon Trump’s previous actions, in which he stripped security clearances from several high-profile figures who either worked for Biden or were involved in legal cases against him. The officials impacted by Monday’s order include:
- Antony Blinken, Former Secretary of State
- Jake Sullivan, Former National Security Advisor
- Lisa Monaco, Biden’s Deputy Attorney General
- Letitia James, New York Attorney General
- Alvin Bragg, Manhattan District Attorney
- Andrew Weissmann, Prosecutor in the Mueller investigation
- Mark Zaid, Deep State attorney
- Norm Eisen, Key figure in anti-Trump legal efforts
Gabbard announced the decision on X:
“Per @POTUS directive, I have revoked security clearances and barred access to classified information for Antony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Mark Zaid, Norman Eisen, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, and Andrew Weissmann, along with the 51 signers of the Hunter Biden ‘disinformation’ letter. The President’s Daily Brief is no longer being provided to former President Biden.”
The “Spies Who Lied”, as labeled in a New York Post historic cover, falsely claimed in 2020 that Hunter Biden’s laptop was part of a Russian disinformation campaign. Joe Biden, Antony Blinken, and the Biden campaign played a role in orchestrating the deception, which was widely amplified by major media outlets.
Trump has also moved to bar Letitia James and Alvin Bragg from entering federal buildings, further escalating his administration’s actions against those he accuses of election interference and political lawfare.
“This is to take away every right they have [revoking security clearances], including they can’t go into [federal] buildings,” Trump told the New York Post.
By blocking James and Bragg from federal courthouses, U.S. Attorney offices, and FBI field offices, their ability to work with federal law enforcement agencies may be severely impacted.
Trump has vowed to hold government officials accountable for what he sees as wrongdoing against him and election interference. The New York Post reports that the punishment applied to James, Bragg, and the “Dirty 51” is the same as Biden’s, signaling a broader effort to purge individuals whom Trump considers corrupt actors in the intelligence and legal system.
