from RAIR Foundation:
In a powerful speech, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán reaffirmed Hungary’s role as the last bastion of national sovereignty and Christian identity in Europe, vowing to resist the globalist forces of Brussels, Soros, and the war-driven Western elite.
In a thunderous national address marking the anniversary of Hungary’s historic 1848–49 revolution against the Habsburg Empire, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán delivered a bold and defiant speech that echoed through the streets of Budapest—and across the Western world. Speaking before a massive crowd of patriotic Hungarians, Orbán honored the past while declaring a present-day fight for Hungary’s soul, standing firmly against EU tyranny, globalist subversion, and the weaponization of the war in Ukraine.

“The essence of Hungarian freedom is eternal and timeless,” Orbán said, invoking the spirit of the 1848 revolution. “It has rumbled for centuries at the peak of time and history… Its origin goes back a thousand years, and it will certainly continue for thousands more on its path among the stars.”
Honoring Hungary’s Sacred Tradition of Resistance
March 15 is more than a date on the calendar for Hungarians—it is a holy symbol of national defiance, commemorating the day in 1848 when Hungarians rose up against foreign rule and demanded liberty, sovereignty, and self-determination. Orbán masterfully tied that moment in history to Hungary’s current struggle against modern-day imperial forces—namely, the unelected bureaucracy in Brussels, the Soros-funded political apparatus, and the cultural colonization of the West.
“The 15th of March is not a typical celebration for us,” Orbán declared. “It is a sacral moment… an eternal and inevitable day, and it will remain so as long as there is a single Hungarian living on this earth.”
“The Element of Hungarians Is Freedom”
Orbán reminded the world that Hungarians are not passive subjects of empires—they are born freedom fighters.
“What is it, for which our blood boils, for which our hearts beat?” Orbán asked. “Freedom, my dear friends, is the element of the Hungarians. The Hungarian man is in his element when he fights for his freedom.”
He continued:
“We know how to achieve freedom. We know how to defend it. This knowledge is ours. We have been cultivating it for a thousand years. This is what we defend; in fact, this is what our DNA is. And this is what the world needs—today more than ever.”
Orbán made clear that Hungary’s fight is not just national—it is civilizational.
“Our struggle for freedom, just as it was in 1848, is not only the business of the Hungarians. Today, the battle is really fought for the spirit of the Western world.”
Rejecting Brussels and the New Empire
Orbán exposed the modern “empire” that now seeks to dominate Hungary—not from Vienna or Moscow, but from Brussels and Washington.
