Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy accused former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of “distorting facts” to cover up her family’s “obscene grifting via USAID” after she baselessly tried to blame the Trump administration for the two plane crashes that happened after President Trump took office.
On January 29, an American Airlines plane and a military Black Hawk helicopter collided above the Potomac River in Washington D.C., killing 67 people. And during rush hour on Friday, a medical jet crashed in on a Philadelphia city street, killing all six passengers, as well as a man who was in his car on the ground at the time of the crash. In all, 366 properties were impacted by the fallout, including four homes that were destroyed and six that sustained major damage.

The cause of the plane crash in Philadelphia has not yet been determined.
Three soldiers were killed in the Black Hawk Helicopter, Staff Sgt. Ryan Austin O’Hara, 28; Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Loyd Eaves, 39, the pilot; and Capt. Rebecca M. Lobach, 28, a former Biden White House Military Social Aide. The helicopter was flying about 100 feet over the maximum allowed for that route.
Senate Commerce Committee chair Ted Cruz (R-Texas) told reporters on Thursday that the helicopter had turned off a key safety system for its training mission.
“This was a training mission, so there was no compelling national security reason for ADS-B to be turned off,” Cruz said after a briefing from the National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration.
Duffy’s dust-up with Clinton began Wednesday after he announced on social media that he was working with Government Efficiency Czar Elon Musk’s young, but top notch “DOGE team” to help the U.S. Department of Transportation (U SDOT) upgrade it’s aviation system.
“Big news. I talked to the DOGE team. They are going to plug in to help upgrade our aviation system,” Duffy posted on X.
Clinton apparently saw the post as an opportunity to disparage the recently doxxed DOGE “tech bros.”
“They have no relevant experience,” she responded on X, adding: “Most of them aren’t old enough to rent a car. And you’re going to let them mess with airline safety that’s already deteriorated on your watch?”
Duffy shot back: “Madam Secretary, with all due respect, ‘experienced’ Washington Bureaucrats are the reason our nation’s infrastructure is crumbling. You need to sit this one out.”
But Clinton insisted on spinning the left’s messaging strategy to blame the crashes on Trump.
“US airlines had gone 16 years without fatal crashes. Then MAGA fired the FAA chief, gutted the Aviation Security Advisory Committee, and threatened air traffic controllers with layoffs,” she wrote. “Now there have been two fatal crashes. Hope your unvetted 22-year-olds fix things fast.”
This was too much for Duffy, who hit back by alluding to reports that the sketchy Clinton Foundation raked in $84 million from USAID.
