Covid tyranny is a template for imposing totalitarianism. Left-wing authoritarians in China evidently created the virus, possibly as a bioweapon. Their counterparts in the West exploited it to pass out other people’s money, erode freedom, and explode the size of government. It is not surprising to see EU types think in terms of disease. “Information manipulation” = misinformation/disinformation = disfavored opinions and information that supports them.
