With the recent passing of President Carter, many have been comparing his presidency to that of Joe Biden’s. While there are many comparisons to be made between the two presidencies, there are many contrasts to be made between the two men.

Regardless of what one might think of Carter’s policies, he truly loved the country. The same cannot be said for Biden.

Take the recent medal ceremony, for example. President Biden awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to George Soros. This particular medal is considered the nation’s highest civilian honor. According to the White House website, it’s presented to individuals who have made exemplary contributions to the prosperity, values, or security of the United States.

George Soros has done none of these.

However, he has been run out of his home country of Hungary by trying to completely ruin the fabric if its society. Soros runs and funds the Open Society Foundation, which financially supports the influx of illegal immigration. The purpose of this is to completely change the makeup of a country.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has pushed the “Stop Soros Laws” in order to blockade the efforts of Soros to rearrange Hungarian society. This legislation halts the dangerous influx of illegal immigrants who could be potential terrorists. This does so by freezing the foreign funding of nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) that Soros supports.

This is the man to whom President Biden gave our highest civilian medal.

On the other hand, President Carter, along with the unanimous approval of Congress on May 26, 1979, ordered that a Congressional Gold Medal be struck in honor of John Wayne. Carter stated that Wayne’s “ruggedness, the tough independence, the sense of personal conviction and courage – on and off the screen – reflected the best of our national character.”

He wasn’t wrong.

In a given testimony before Congress, actress Maureen O’Hara had this to say about John Wayne:

“To the people of the world, John Wayne is not just an actor, and a very fine actor, John Wayne is the United States of America. He is what they believe it to be. He is what they hope it will be. And he is what they hope it will always be.”

Who was more deserving of an award from an American President, George Soros or John Wayne?

John Wayne personified all that is good about America, and President Carter recognized that in him. George Soros personifies all that is not good about the global elites, and Biden recognized that in him.

As one of Wayne’s fellow actors stated, “John Wayne was what every young boy wants to be like, and what every old man wishes he had been.”
