The New York Times released a fantastical hit piece on Tuesday, January 28, about President Donald J. Trump’s Director of National Intelligence (DNI) pick, Tulsi Gabbard. The article includes anonymous sources, bizarre references to the Vatican, and mysterious European businessmen to explain why the former Biden-Harris regime placed Gabbard on a watchlist.

Gabbard and her husband were placed on the “Quiet Skies” watchlist last year, run by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). However, she was quickly removed after going public. While Gabbard herself blamed the Biden-Harris regime for the move, claiming it was due to her criticism of former Vice President Kamala Harris, the New York Times has released a different story.

According to the NYT, Gabbard attended a conference at Vatican City organized by a mysterious European businessman they refuse to name. The newspaper claims, without evidence, that the businessman was or is currently on a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) watchlist.

Even the article’s authors admit that those close to Gabbard state she did not know the mysterious businessman before the meeting and has had no contact with him since.

The same FBI under the Biden-Harris regime targetted traditional Roman Catholics, admitting to spying on people from communities who celebrate the Tridentine Mass, also known as the Traditional Latin Mass, across the country.

The Biden regime also notoriously went after pro-life activists, many of whom are Catholics, with President Trump recently releasing many activists from prison, granting them presidential pardons.

The NYT article also mentions Gabbard’s travels to the Middle East, including her meetings with government officials from Lebanon and Syria in 2017. The NYT quotes unnamed officials as stating that Hezbollah communications mentioned Gabbard after her trip and that she had met with “the big guy.” They do not specify who that may refer to.
