Barry County Sheriff Dar Leaf has just announced in a press release that his office has referred a case regarding election-related crimes to the Texas Attorney General’s Office.

He stated: “The Texas Attorney General has opened a criminal investigation related to Dominion Voting Systems, Election Systems & Software (ES&S). Hart InterCivic, and SolarWinds including specific subcontractors, agents, and employees.”

According to the press release, the sheriff’s office will release more information when it can do so without compromising the investigation. However, he has posted on X in the past that he was looking into “conspiracy crimes, wire services fraud, honest services fraud, and perjury charges” related to Dominion CEO John Polous’ “sworn testimony before the Michigan Legislature that its voting systems could not be accessed or connected to by outside networks and sources, and that it was a ‘US based company.’”

He previously claimed in an affidavit that Serbian foreign nationals were instructed by employees of Dominion to access Michigan’s election system remotely and refused to provide prosecutors with his voter fraud files out of concern that it would compromise his investigation.

Journalist Lara Logan shared the new press release on X and provided additional context, saying that some parts of this investigation have been going on for a few years and are “not pretty.”

Referring to the press release, she said: “This is one of those documents that could be easily overlooked — in truth it is a nuclear bomb.”

It’s not known why the sheriff of Barry County, which is in Michigan, would refer the case to the Texas AG’s office, but Leaf has long been investigating allegations of vote fraud. As part of the constitutional sheriffs movement, Leaf has made it his mission to protect election integrity in America. Since the 2020 elections, he has petitioned courts to seize voting equipment and requested numerous records as he looks into whether vote tabulators around the country could have been rigged to give Trump votes to Biden.

Trump won decisively in Barry County, but Biden took the state of Michigan by just 154,000 votes out of 5.5 million overall.

Illegal voting exposed in Michigan ahead of the election

It’s not even Election Day yet, but Michigan prosecutors have already charged a Chinese citizen with perjury and vote fraud after the 19-year-old cast a ballot for the 2024 presidential election. The news comes as the media criticizes Donald Trump for claiming that illegal voting by non-citizens is common.

The man reportedly registered to vote at the polling place last weekend using his university ID and other documentation to prove he lived in Ann Arbor and then voted; he now faces deportation.

It is not known whether it was an isolated incident or part of a broader scheme by China to interfere with the election. Federal investigators are looking into it. However, authorities say that his vote cannot be nullified after going through the tabulator and will therefore be counted.

This type of problem is all too common when you don’t require proof of citizenship to vote.

Meanwhile, in the state’s summer primaries, four people intentionally voted twice, and now the voters and the three election workers accused of facilitating the double voting are facing felony charges.

Of course, for every case we hear about, there are countless others that do not get caught or reported.

Elon Musk has also been complaining about irregularities in Michigan, posting recently on X that “Michigan has more registered voters than eligible citizens!?” Although officials claim his comment was “misleading” because it included inactive records that are set to be removed, Musk countered that they aren’t going to be removed until after the election.
