The Kamala Harris campaign is circling the drain

by Wallace Garneau, America Outloud:

Kamala Harris was a complete failure as Vice President, and understand that being Vice President only consists of two things:

  • Standing by to become President if the actual President cannot continue, and
  • Giving the appearance of importance to events (such as funerals) that are not important enough for the President to attend.

In the first role, Kamala Harris SHOULD have become President as Joe Biden’s mental capacity declined, but she did not—even after Joe Biden dropped out of the upcoming election. The reason Kamala Harris never became President is that she would be a disaster and thus has a much lower chance of winning the election in 2024 running as the sitting President than she has run as someone new. Kamala Harris was a complete failure at this part of the VP’s job.

As for the second role, watching Kamala Harris as VP is like playing Where’s Waldo. Joe Biden made her the border czar, which she failed at miserably, and then her popularity turned out to be so low that in terms of the public eye, she dropped off the face of the Earth. Kamala would be trotted out occasionally to read a book to school children or something in an attempt to rebuild her image, and whenever she was trotted out, she would give a word salad that only made things worse.

Joe Biden did not endorse Kamala Harris in his letter where he canceled his reelection bid. That was telling, as Joe Biden did not actually write that letter. Nancy Pelosi said she wanted an open process (meaning an open convention) so that the Democrats could pick a real candidate. That wasn’t because the Democratic leadership believes in Democracy (if they did, they would have allowed a primary to occur), but because Kamala Harris is a disaster.

Joe Biden was upset about being thrown out, so the next day, he endorsed Kamala Harris on Twitter as a big middle finger to the Democratic Party leadership.

The Democrats did what they could do, keeping Kamala Harris away from reporters and turning her campaign events into concerts with famous singers to fill the stands for photo ops.

Last week, Tim Walz said we need to get rid of the Electoral College, and the Harris campaign disowned the comment. Kamala Harris attacked Ron DeSantis’ handling of the hurricanes, and Joe Biden publicly praised Ron DeSantis’ handling of the hurricanes. Joe Biden also scheduled a press conference at the same time as a Kamala Harris rally.

As for hurricanes, the head of FEMA announced during the cleanup from Helene that FEMA was out of money. The Federal response to the hurricanes has been a national disgrace thanks to all of the money FEMA has used to house migrants.

Internal polling from both parties showed last week that Kamala Harris was on pace to lose the election, so what did the Harris Campaign do? They sent Kamala Harris out to do interviews in a last-ditch attempt to rebuild her image, and she botched the interviews.

Today, the media is afraid of Kamala Harris dragging down down-ballot Democrats in the election. You can hear it whenever down-ballot Democrats talk. They are running away from Kamala Harris, and the media is starting to follow suit.
