from Moonbattery:

First the Los Angeles Times. Then the Washington Post. Now not even USA Today will endorse the liberal establishment candidate Kamala Harris:

The outlet’s decision to not endorse Harris comes years after it “broke tradition in urging” its readers not to vote for Trump in the 2016 presidential election, and went on to endorse President Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election, writing that it “unanimously supports the election of Joe Biden.”

We’ve all seen for ourselves how that turned out.

Possibly thinking that it has credibility left to salvage, USA Today has decided not to go down with the Harris/Walz sinking ship. The decision also applies for other Gannett publications, including the Arizona Republic, the Des Moines Register, and the Detroit Free Press.

Regarding WaPo, owner Jeff Bezos says it is withholding a Commiela endorsement because he finally got the news that no one trusts the left-wing media establishment:

Most people believe the media is biased. Anyone who doesn’t see this is paying scant attention to reality, and those who fight reality lose. Reality is an undefeated champion. It would be easy to blame others for our long and continuing fall in credibility (and, therefore, decline in impact), but a victim mentality will not help. Complaining is not a strategy. We must work harder to control what we can control to increase our credibility. …

By itself, declining to endorse presidential candidates is not enough to move us very far up the trust scale, but it’s a meaningful step in the right direction.

The MSM has a long way to go:

One week before Election Day, a new analysis from the Media Research Center finds that broadcast evening news coverage of the 2024 presidential race has been the most lopsided in history. Since July, ABC, CBS and NBC have treated Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris to 78 percent positive coverage, while these same networks have pummeled former Republican President Donald Trump with 85 percent negative coverage

This despite Kamala Harris being probably the worst major party candidate ever, whereas Trump is a successful former president.

Here’s how ham-fisted they are at MSNBC:
