from RAIR Foundation:

The concept of 15-minute cities, also known as C40 cities, are a thinly veiled attempt by global elites to impose totalitarian control over people’s lives. Shyam Batra, a former candidate for Mayor of London, is sounding the alarm on what he calls a “diabolical” agenda orchestrated by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and supported by left-wing governments worldwide.

What Are C40 Cities?

At first glance, the idea behind these cities might seem harmless: reduce traffic, lower emissions, and create more walkable communities where basic amenities are accessible within 15 minutes of one’s home. But Batra warns that this vision hides a more insidious reality. “In a 15-minute city, you can no longer drive a petrol or diesel car, and you have to buy a plug-in car,” he says. “It is decided for you what you can and cannot eat. Your account is blocked if you break the rules.”

According to Batra, C40 cities are part of a larger scheme by the WEF to strip citizens of their freedoms under the pretext of climate change. “This is an open prison,” Batra argues, “and the population is kept in the dark.”

The WEF’s Dark Agenda

Batra’s warnings are echoed by many who view the World Economic Forum as the puppet master behind these policies. Klaus Schwab, the WEF’s founder, has been shown to use so-called “environmental” and economic crises as an opportunity to usher in a globalist, authoritarian regime. C40 cities, they say, are just one facet of this larger agenda.

Batra is particularly concerned about the role of Sadiq Khan, the controversial Islamic Mayor of London, who chairs the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group. According to Batra, Khan has been traveling the world promoting the C40 initiative, working hand in hand with the WEF to get other governments on board with the plan. “Most countries are planning to turn certain cities into 15-minute cities,” he warns, likening the situation to an Orwellian nightmare where citizens are constantly monitored and controlled.

The Dystopian Reality

For critics, C40 cities represent a grim future where personal freedoms are a thing of the past. The car you drive, the food you eat, and even where you work would be dictated by global elites in these confined urban spaces. “We will not be able to work unless it’s in our 15-minute city,” Batra explains, adding that such a scenario would leave people “trapped” in a perpetual lockdown-like state, reminiscent of the draconian Covid restrictions imposed during the pandemic.
