In a Truth Social post, Trump directly accused President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris of promoting false narratives and lawsuits aimed at destroying his political career. He said these efforts have taken “politics in our Country to a whole new level of Hatred, Abuse, and Distrust.”
“The Rhetoric, Lies, as exemplified by the false statements made by Comrade Kamala Harris during the rigged and highly partisan ABC Debate, and all of the ridiculous lawsuits specifically designed to inflict damage on Joe’s, then Kamala’s, Political Opponent, ME, has taken politics in our Country to a whole new level of Hatred, Abuse, and Distrust,” Trump posted. “Because of this Communist Left Rhetoric, the bullets are flying, and it will only get worse!”
Trump further called for the closure of U.S. borders and the immediate deportation of “terrorists, criminals, and mentally insane” individuals, saying America can no longer afford to allow “people from places unknown to invade and take over.”

Secret Service agents spotted a man with a firearm near Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, where Trump was golfing. The agents opened fire, and the suspect fled the scene in an SUV before being apprehended by local law enforcement. No injuries were reported.
