The DOJ called out for Election Interference with Russia as the scapegoat

A.G. Sulzberger, The New York Times publisher, in an article on CNN titled “New York Times publisher sounds the alarm on Trump employing authoritarian anti-press ‘playbook,’” warned the world about what Donald Trump “might” employ in a second term. “My colleagues and I have spent months studying how press freedom has been attacked in Hungary – as well as in other democracies such as India and Brazil,” he wrote. Sulzberger warns us not to underestimate the power of this playbook.

If warnings from the publisher of the New York Times about how Trump “might” do what Joe Biden and Kamala Harris ARE doing is not bad enough, Joy Reid dedicated an entire episode of her show, Read Out, to a Department of Justice indictment charging two Russian nationals with conspiracy to violate the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) and conspiracy to commit money laundering. The Russian Nationals are Konstantin Kalashnikov and Elena Afansyeva, who allegedly created a “covert project” to influence American politics.

Why do we care about the Department of Justice indicting Russians in Russia with federal crimes that are not illegal where they supposedly occurred (Russia)? Generally, we don’t. The Department of Justice has no means of prosecuting Russians in Russia, so such measures are purely political in nature. These people can avoid the indictments entirely simply by staying out of the United States, and even if they ever got arrested, they can say that as Russian nationals who were acting in Russia, American law does not apply.

Case closed.

But we should care a great deal about this particular indictment, as it will have a massive impact on our upcoming election.

According to the indictment, “Company 1” describes itself on its website as a “network of heterodox commentators that focus on Western political and cultural issues” and identifies six commentators as its “talent.” According to the indictment, “Company 1” covertly funded these six commentators with ten million dollars collectively.

The indictment does not name “Company 1” or the six commentators, but Joy Reid did. The company is Tenet Media, and the six commentators are Tim Pool, Benny Johnson, Dave Rubin, Taylor Hansen, Lauren Southern, and Matt Christiansen, all of whom Joy Reid calls “MAGAlebrities.”

Here is the kicker:  Joy Reid says these six people were unaware they were getting paid. Perhaps Joy Reid can explain in an upcoming show how a bribe can be effective if the people being bribed don’t know about it.

Reid also implicated Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, and JD Vance for spreading “Russian Propaganda.”

Tucker Carlson is even mentioned in the indictment.

Tenet Media is owned by Lauren Chen and Liam Donovan, neither of whom is indicted. According to Joy Reid, Lauren Chen was fired from Blaze Media.

Tenet Media is supposedly receiving its marching orders from RT, or ‘Russia Today.’
