New York Times data based on a number of Donald Trump and Kamala Harris rallies have revealed the Vice President consistently underperforming her competitor by over four times over, despite the fact that Trump is two decades her senior.

In an article designed originally to imply that Trump rally length was causing attendees to leave a few minutes before Trump left the stage, the New York Times accidentally revealed that Harris speaks for an average of just 24 minutes – a paltry number considering how long rally-goers wait (often all day) to see the speakers.

Trump, on the other hand, spoke for an average of one hour and 38 minutes, with opening line ups also featuring for far longer than the programming at a Harris event.

The numbers shed light on how seriously each side takes their base of support, with Team Kamala clearly taking their backers for granted, while Team Trump focuses on delivering value for in exchange for attendance.

A recent Savannah, Georgia rally saw Harris speak for just 19 minutes, with an opening act lasting just six. In total, rallygoers who queued for hours received just 25 minutes on programming in exchange.

Trump’s stamina and ability to speak – often off the cuff for up to two hours at a time – has been a defining characteristic of his campaigns, starting in 2016.
