The Biden/Harris administration has rescinded Secret Service protection for RFK. Jr after the independent candidate endorsed Trump and said he will actively campaign for him.
The protection was only granted last month following the assassination attempt on Trump, despite repeated requests from Kennedy’s campaign.

The New York Post reports that RFK Jr. will no longer have Secret Service protection, with the government stating it is because he has suspended his candidacy. However, Kennedy remains on the ballot in 40 out of 50 states and has only suspended his campaign in the key swing states.

The backlash was immediate with respondents noting how dangerous this is just weeks after Trump was shot, and given the fact that Kennedy, whose father and uncle were both assassinated, will now be campaigning with him.
