We are entering very perilous times! While conservatives rejoice that former president Trump, politically in the ascendency, survived an assassination attempt and then days later accepted the Republican Party’s nomination as candidate for president in 2024, we risk disappointment basking in the euphoria of what looks like we might enjoy as a unified conservative party going forward to restore America to its constitutional roots. We cannot let our guard down or believe for a moment that thinking we’re heading in the right direction will bring all Americans along with us.

Remember, they hate us, and the Democrats will try to prevent it even if it costs them Biden’s life. They will go to any lengths to keep power or keep Donald Trump from getting it again. The Democrat’s desperation grows with every utterance of Joe Biden or Kamala Harris, creating an anxiety that screams for action. The attempt to relieve someone’s anxiety ended bloodily for the assassin in Butler, Pennsylvania. It might not fail the next time, and a next time is surely on the horizon.
Iranian Jihadists have long been planning to kill Donald Trump. Iran already issued its own ‘death warrant’ a fatwa to do just that. If the Secret Service, specifically trained to protect the president even at the cost of their own lives, sees fit to substitute the protective ranks of trained special agents with untrained, ineffective ladies from Homeland Security to fulfill the woman’s power requirements of DEI, then Iran, China, Russia, North Korea or even Joe Blow the ragman from anywhere USA, may exploit an opportunity and succeed. After all, the deceased Saturday shooter at Butler, it is now being revealed, scoped out his intended attack scene in advance using a drone and range finder to collect firing data. And he nearly got away with it. The assassin even inadvertently drew attention to himself an hour earlier.
The chattering class fills the airways with their opinions, solicited or unsolicited, on who’s their good guy and who’s their bad guy, with the media pushing the Meme that it’s Trump who is the threat to democracy. It never ceases to amaze me when some Woke Hollywood types think their opinions are important and threaten to leave America if Trump becomes president again ⏤ never do. How many times have Barbra Streisand or Robert DeNiro threatened to quit America because they disapproved of who would be president? Where the hell will they go?
America is the last refuge of any real semblance of freedom in the whole world. My unsolicited advice to them is, “If you’re going to go, get going now, and don’t let the door hit you in the ass on your way out. By the way, leave your passports at the door.”
Many of these “woke” thinkers in the entertainment industry truly believe their political opinions are more important than yours or mine. This idea is abetted by the entertainment industry media, which focuses on glitz and glamor, not the inane stupidity that really prevails. They instinctively believe their opinions are important simply because they are entertainment democrats with a platform.
The legacy media and Leftist politicians were distraught that Trump wasn’t killed at his rally. Many Democrat politicians and federal government appointees, forgetting the ubiquitous presence of microphones, have uttered out loud their hateful disdain for Trump and their disappointment at the assassin’s failure. Their names have been taken down. Many others view Trump’s salvation as the divine hand of God. Who can deny it?
Yet, soulless Trump haters simply see it as a missed opportunity, a chance to relieve the pressure on their party’s problem of selling a democrat ticket as the best prospect for America going forward or jettisoning the pair. We may laugh, but the new motto out there, “Joe and the Ho, gotta go,” has damaging resonance with Democrat voters because they know it’s true. Sarcastic humor can be destructive. But so does the political dysfunction raging publicly between the parties resonate with our enemies, showing our weakness on the world stage.
Russia’s Putin is facing his own military disaster of the failures of his conscript army, citizens who don’t want to be there against Ukraine soldiers who do, or mostly do. In the meantime, China’s Emperor Xi may see our political chaos and indecisiveness as a golden opportunity to quickly snatch Taiwan away from its successful Western commercial associations and back into the misery and despair of China’s dysfunctional collective society. North Korea’s little rocket man, Kim Jong Un, is just crazy enough to try it himself or send his sister to do it. These people think they are in the Cat-Birds seat being nearly untouchable for any action they may try. In any event, they can exculpate themselves of any new attempts by blaming Iran’s Muslim Jihadists.
By all appearances, it does appear the Republican Party is coming together. But the dangers inside are still there, threatening to throw sand in the gears. It’s the few RINO uniparty adherents left who have lost control of their message trying to defend the illusion that bipartisanship still works for them and will work for America if we only just give it a try.
Come November, if Trump survives the coming tribulations of being protected by a dysfunctional Secret Service, we’ll know where Conservatism stands in America. Will we make America great again or succumb to the terrors of a totalitarian police state and a civil war that will invariably ensue?
