Klaus Schwab told us more than two years ago that agents of his globalist organization, the World Economic Forum, had “infiltrated” the cabinets of multiple Western nations including that of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Schwab bragged that “more than half” of Trudeau’s cabinet was under the control of the WEF. Watch the clip below.

We’ve seen the fruit of Schwab’s accomplishment. Canada’s government has in recent years cracked down on free speech and freedom of the press, adopted draconian gun control laws and generally behaved more like a communist regime than a “Liberal” one. When Canada’s truckers protested the government’s vaccine mandates two years ago, Trudeau had his deputies seize the truckers’ bank accounts, treating them like criminals rather than members of a free society exercizing their right to peacefully protest.
Fast forward to January 8, 2024, and the latest shining example of just how far into authoritarianism the Canadian regime has slipped was on display.
On Monday, Rebel News reporter David Menzies was arrested and detained for hours by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government.
The reason? Menzies had the audacity to ask a question that one of Trudeau’s globalist deputies did not wish to answer.
Menzies asked Deputy Prime Minister for Finance, Chrystia Freeland, who just happens to be one of the WEF infiltrators that Schwab takes such great pride in mentoring, a question about why the Canadian government hasn’t designated the Iranian regime as a terrorist entity. Menzies no sooner got the question out of his mouth when he was accosted by several brutish cops, handcuffed and hauled away into detention. They accused him of “assaulting” a police officer when the video shows no such thing happened and, in fact, it was the police who did the assaulting.
The incident in question took place in Richmond Hill, where Menzies was detained while simply asking accountability questions of Freeland. This is the same Freeland who played a key role in shutting down the Canadian Truckers’ freedom protests.
The disturbing video footage shows Menzies being physically obstructed by a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police before being taken away in a police vehicle.
The arrest has sparked outrage, with many questioning the Trudeau administration’s commitment to basic press freedom.
Elon Musk was one of the first to take the Trudeau government to task.
Musk, responding to a post on X, expressed his dismay, stating, “They (Trudeau’s government) won’t make it past the next election.” That’s assuming they still have free and fair elections in Canada, which I personally would not assume to be the case.
Like the regimes in Washington, Paris, London and Berlin, the regime in Ottawa seems to do whatever it wants, no matter how unpopular, with no real electoral repercussions.
In a further comment on the incident, Musk pointed out that it was clear from the footage that the journalist had not assaulted the Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer.
Musk commented:
“Fine for the officer to body block someone trying to get close to a senior government official, but false to say that he deliberately assaulted an officer.”
Michael Yon, a veteran journalist and war correspondent, stated on his Substack this morning, what we saw go down in Canada on Monday was “Canadian fascism in full view.”
UPDATE: After approximately 24 hours in custody, Menzies was released and the charges dropped, but the message was sent to all Canadian journalists — be careful what questions you ask of your ruling overlords because they have the power to sic their Brownshirts on you and carry you off for a night or two, maybe a week or more, in the gulag.
Remember, this is the same regime that celebrated a Nazi war criminal on the floor of the Canadian Parliament a few months ago. Trudeau only apologized after he was called on the carpet.
This is just the beginning of a global clampdown on free speech
Do not be surprised to see more of this type of brutish treatment of citizen journalists in the formerly free Western nations as we get further into 2024. Most of these Western “democracies” are governed by WEF puppets who do not answer to the people of their countries but to a foreign entity in Switzerland. It’s called the World Economic Forum.
The globalist mouthpieces at the WEF and UN have let it be known that they consider freedom of speech to be an old-fashioned concept. Any media outlet that challenges the globalist narratives about climate, vaccines, perpetual wars, etc. will be charged with distributing “disinformation” and silenced. Former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, now a Harvard professor and a prior graduate of Schwab’s WEF Young Global Leaders program, has come out in favor of the United Nations having the power to crack down on spreaders of “disinformation.”
Kemp goes to Davos — Again
And it’s not just heads of state and their cabinets who bow at the feet of the globalist elites in Davos, Switzerland. Several state governors have made pilgrimages to Davos to grovel in front of Schwab and his top henchmen. Most, but not all, are Democrat governors. Georgia’s Republican Governor Brian Kemp is so enamored with the globalists that he has signed up to attend the 2024 WEF meeting later this month in Davos, for the second straight year.
