The United States is escalating their bombing campaigns in Yemen, as more rage builds in the Muslim world against the U.S. for arming Israel and standing in their corner against Palestine.

“At approximately 4:15 am (Sanaa time), US Forces struck and destroyed four Houthi anti-ship ballistic missiles prepared to launch from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen,” U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said.

Shortly after Yemen was attacked, the pro-Iran Houthis attacked a Greek-owned ship in the Red Sea. CENTCOM stated that M/V Zografia “reported they were struck but seaworthy and were continuing their Red Sea transit. No injuries were reported.”

The Houthis bragged about initiating the attack after the fact. Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sarea said that they “targeted the ship Zogravia, which was headed to the ports of occupied Palestine, with several adequate missiles, leaving direct hits.”

The U.S. has bombed Yemen three times since Friday, being joined by the U.K. in bombing different strategic sites believed to be harboring Houthi forces. The Houthis are targeting American and British commercial shipping in response as the violence shows no signs of slowing.

Big League Politics has reported on how the U.S. has sponsored war crimes in Yemen for years, as American defense contractors have profited from the ongoing bloodshed led by the Saudis:

Seven Yemeni nationals have sued American defense contractors such as Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, and General Dynamics for “aiding and abetting war crimes and extrajudicial killings” by selling armaments to Gulf Arab nations prosecuting a war in Yemen.

Saudi and Emirati leaders Mohammed bin Salman (MbS) and Mohammed bin Zayed (MbZ) were also targeted in the lawsuit, in addition to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

“Year after year, the bombs fell – on wedding tents, funeral halls, fishing boats, and a school bus – killing thousands of civilians and helping turn Yemen into the world’s worst humanitarian crisis,” the lawsuit declared, per a report by the Middle East Eye.

“Weapons supplied by US companies through sales unlawfully approved by US officials allowed Saudi Arabia and the UAE through the named Defendant officials to pursue an indiscriminate and brutal bombing campaign.”
