Reports reveal that a recent investigation at a deserted Reedley, California building that contained an “empty” laboratory uncovered large-scale illegal biotech operations with bioengineered mice and about 800 chemicals and infectious agents.
An accidental discovery of the facility happened in April and was prompted by a simple garden hose that was illegally attached to the back of the building, Fresno County Department of Public Health officials said.

Investigators discovered that one room of the warehouse was used to produce Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) tests and pregnancy tests. In other rooms, investigators found blood, tissue, and other bodily fluid samples. They also found thousands of vials that contained unlabeled fluids. According to court documents, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) tested what they could and determined that at least 20 potentially infectious viral, bacterial, and parasitic agents were present including E. Coli, malaria, and even COVID-19. (Related: Mysterious lab discovered in Fresno, Calif., “at least 20 potentially infectious agents” detected along with mice engineered to spread pandemics.)
NBC News noted that investigators found 900 laboratory mice and human tissue samples. “Certain rooms of the warehouse were found to contain several vessels of liquid and various apparatus,” court documents included. “Fresno County Public Health staff also observed blood, tissue and other bodily fluid samples and serums; and thousands of vials of unlabeled fluids and suspected biological material.” Hundreds of rodents at the warehouse were kept in inhumane conditions, the documents also said. The city took possession of the animals in April, euthanizing 773 of them, while more than 175 were found already dead.
California Globe Editor-in-Chief Katy Grimes reported that the independent local news site made public records requests to the city government of Reedley and the county’s public health department for information and communications between state and federal agencies brought in, as well as any documents and materials found at the illegal lab location.
“The Fresno County DPH responded almost immediately with a bevy of legal documents including the Superior Court Application for Abatement Warrant. But they said since this is an ongoing investigation, there are no additional records available to disclose at this time,” she wrote. According to the investigative journalist, her medical friend who just returned from a meeting shared some information about the spread of Chinese Communist Party- (CCP-) sponsored incursions into domestic American society.
“Colleagues believe that our current government has invited in and is supporting Chinese government-sponsored operations throughout the United States in academia, online data gathering (social media apps), law enforcement, and scientific research,” she said.

FDA recalled UMI’s COVID-19 test kits in February
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reported a recall of UMI’s Skippack medical lab COVID-19 direct antigen rapid tests in February. The agency has identified this as a Class I recall, the most serious type of recall as the use of these devices may cause serious injuries or death.

Why did the FDA recall products of a defunct company just recently and not during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Grimes wondered. She also blasted California Gavin Newsom’s administration for not being aware of the fraudulent and dangerous test kits when he tediously micromanaged the state’s COVID-19 policies. “Newsom even approved spending $1 billion of taxpayers’ funds in April 2020 on masks from Chinese company BYD which had no prior history of making personal protective equipment, and yet days after the FDA approval, it secured a $1 billion deal to supply masks to California,” she pointed out.
