by Paul Joseph Watson, Summit News:
Comedian Ricky Gervais offered his two cents on recent reports that classic literature is being completely rewritten for a modern day woke audience, by wondering if his own work would be changed after he is dead.
Tongue firmly in cheek and poking fun at himself, Gervais tweeted he is pondering whether the “fragile” and “easily offended” will remove the words ‘fat’ and ‘ugly’, and some more blue verbiage from his stand up shows once his is gone.

This is me pondering whether they’ll change any of the words I’ve used in my work after I’m dead, to spare those who are fragile and easily offended. Words like ‘fat’ and ‘ugly’. And ‘cunt’ and ‘fuck’. And ‘fat, ugly, greedy, pathetic little stupid fucking cunt’. Stuff like that. pic.twitter.com/RCV0aNh9f4

The easily offended and fragile came straight in to prove Gervais’ point:
In all seriousness (if this is a reference to Roald Dahl books being edited) I don’t see anything wrong with updating the new editions. It doesn’t really become an issue until they start burning/banning the classic editions especially ones popular with children.
